I found two different calculators percentage of body fat in google, one told me I was 32% fat, the other (with exactly the same measures) told me I'm 17. 5% fat. From what I can tell … The most accurate way out of a lab (which will cost a lot of money) are clips body. You can get cheap one for about $ 50 which calculates the percentage itself. Calculations of anatomical measurements vary, but I found those given by the YMCA and the Navy seem to be reliable (do a search on google estimates low body fat percentage). Overall, I recommend doing several online calculators and take the average. I have not seen the differences you're describing (32% versus 17%) so I think there is an error in there some where. But looking at yourself you can tell if it is closer to 32% or 17%.

Sounds like you've reached what is called a plateau – your body has gotten used to the exercise you're doing, so it does not move. Essentially you have to work harder to push your body beyond this limit. 5% body fat is very unhealthy, especially at 15 when you are still developing. About 10% is ideal. Even bodybuilders tend to remain around 10%, and only fall to less for competitions and shows.

A little over two weeks ago I talked to a Navy recruiter and was told that I have to lose weight before she could continue processing. 255 was then and am now 239. I was told I need to get to around 196-215 to continue. The thing is im starting to slow down with my weight loss. My goal was to reach 215 in 3 1/2 months, but I worry that I will not make that mark. Is there any way I can join the army, the navy in my choice, out of range Thar be under weight or body fat of 23%. Essentially – nope. You have to be within the rules in order to send basic training. No 'fatty' resignation. For weight, I would highly recommend that is at least 10% below its maximum weight. Which gives leeway. Technically you can send if you are at the maximum, but I've never met anyone who actually did it. Body fat? Shoot to be 2% below its peak.

I know what it takes to lose weight, and I have. I know the more you weigh, faster than you can. How long do you think if I take a strict diet and go to the gym. Essentially – From a former sailor, congratulations on choosing Navy. Get school written on the package of enlistment. To lose weight, "you have, the faster it will" really only applies to the first 5% -10%. After slows down and is very stable. 3 pounds a week is fine, but you can peel healthily 5, and some can even manage 7 without stop taking in 2,000 calories a day. Also – keep doing what you're doing and taking care consumption. Having a food journal. The only thing necessary for losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in. (I recommend paleo anyone, but I'm biased because it makes me feel amazing for 2 years)
